This drawing is a mental journey back to the many Combinatory Studies we produced in my Design of Cities Vertical Studios with Thom Mayne at SCI-Arc. The studies in the studio were produced from automated process one tweaks into producing a three dimensional geometry. Here I’m informing a 2D perspective from my recollection of how there three dimensional forms looked from various perspectives. Which is a bit of a different generative process.
